About Me

My favorite part about the career I've built over the last 10 years, is being able to tell stories in a meaningful and impactful way that helps grow the companies I've been a part of. I began my career in traditional content marketing, and in 2017, I pivoted my career into building and leading employer brand programs and teams. I have worked at both private and public tech companies (most recently, MongoDB, Snyk, and Starburst Data).

Take a look at my portfolio below to see some of the content and projects I launched in my global employer brand roles.

Careers Pages

Here are Careers pages (and sub-pages) I rewrote, redesigned, and revamped from end-to-end. These pages were created internally without using external agencies, and were a collaborative effort between myself, and our Web, Design, Marketing, Video, and HR/Recruiting teams. These redesigns were also created in partnership with C-Level Executives and the wider leadership team to ensure we were in alignment with our new brand and the EVP (employee value proposition). I created our EVP through conducting various employee interviews, focus groups, qualitative data analysis, iterations with leadership teams, and a final rollout to the entire company. The EVP was then strategically placed in all of our outgoing and internal messaging around our hiring goals and culture.

Blog Posts

These are blog posts I wrote (and ghostwrote) highlighting our employees, company benefits, DEI initiatives, and more. I interviewed employees or stakeholders one-on-one, as well as developed Google Doc questionnaires to best capture each person's story. I then edited the blog post along with the featured employee to make sure we were telling their story in the most authentic way possible while tying the content into our hiring and employer brand goals.

How to Build a Customer Success Team in Six Steps: My Journey | Blog

It was the summer of 2016. I was standing in a board meeting about to present my strategy for how I was going to build a Customer Success (CS) program at MongoDB. Videos

Here are examples of videos I managed end-to-end from ideation all the way through to internal and external promotional camapigns in collaboration with various teams. With each of these videos, I first sourced a list of employees to feature in alignment with our hiring needs. Then, I created personalized questionnaires for each employee given their department, tenure, and the messaging we wanted to convey to candidates. I then worked with our video producer to capture the best content that showcased our culture and career growth opportunities. Once the videos were created, I went through transcripts and chose the best clips needed while working with a video editor to create a final video. Once the video was created, we sliced and diced it to create different versions for social media campaigns and I created a plan for how we would strategically place and promote each video to achieve our business goals across various channels. We were able to professionally record some of these videos in-person, while others were recorded remotely using a remote video recording guide I created.
